Vehicle Fitment

  • 2020-2025 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C8) with Z51 Performance Package -- 6.2L V8
  • Coupe and Convertible models equipped with Z51 Brembo front brake calipers

Fitment Notes

  • Front axle only -- sold as a pair (left and right)
  • Requires Z51 Performance Package with Brembo 4-piston front calipers and 345mm rotors
  • Direct bolt-on replacement -- works with stock Brembo calipers and pads, no modifications required
  • Matching rear rotors available separately (EBC SG2F028)

Features

  • Fully floating 2-piece design -- outer ring expands/contracts up to 3mm freely under heat, eliminating warping
  • G3500 high-carbon, high-copper cast iron friction ring for superior crack resistance and thermal conductivity
  • Aerospace-grade aluminum bell, precision machined and hard anodized for durability
  • Patented SD-Drive stainless steel bobbins -- corrosion-resistant, ensures free float after years of use
  • 48 directionally curved vanes (handed L/R) for maximum cooling efficiency
  • Slotted surface improves pad degassing and removes dust, water, and debris
  • Anti-rattle spring clips at each bobbin -- silent operation on and off the brake
  • Significant unsprung weight reduction vs. OE 1-piece rotors -- improves turn-in, handling, and road holding
  • Replaceable outer ring -- bells and bobbins can be reused, reducing long-term costs

Product Description

The EBC SG2F027 is a pair of 2-piece fully floating front brake rotors engineered for the 2020-2025 C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray equipped with the Z51 Performance Package and Brembo front calipers. Measuring 345mm x 30mm, these rotors bolt directly onto the front axle as a direct replacement with no vehicle modifications required. The outer friction rings are cast from high-carbon, high-copper G3500 alloy for exceptional crack resistance and thermal conductivity, while the center bells are precision machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and hard anodized for durability. EBC's patented SD-Drive stainless steel bobbins allow the outer ring to float freely and expand up to 3mm under extreme heat, virtually eliminating thermal distortion and warping during hard driving. Each rotor features 48 directionally curved vanes in a handed left/right configuration for maximum cooling, and a slotted surface that promotes pad degassing while clearing dust, water, and debris. Anti-rattle spring clips at each bobbin location ensure completely silent operation on the street. The 2-piece design significantly reduces unsprung rotational mass compared to the OE 1-piece rotors, improving turn-in response, tire road holding, and braking dive. When the friction ring eventually wears, only the outer ring needs replacement -- the aluminum bells and stainless bobbins are reusable, reducing long-term ownership costs.
