Product Description

The EBC SG2F038 is a pair of 370mm swept groove 2-piece fully floating front brake discs engineered specifically for the 2016-2023 Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster (8S chassis) with the 2.5L 5-cylinder engine. For vehicles fitted with a 2-piece pin-drive disc as standard equipment, this genuine, track-proven upgrade seamlessly converts to a true fully floating 2-piece system without any vehicle modifications, going well beyond a basic bolt-up two-piece unit.

The cast iron outer friction ring is cast from a high-copper, high-carbon G3500 disc alloy and floats freely on EBC's patented SD-Drive stainless steel bobbins, allowing up to 3mm of expansion and contraction under the extreme heat generated by hard braking. This eliminates thermal distortion and reduces stress on the rotor, extending its service life and reducing the risk of cracking during extreme track use. Every bobbin location includes an anti-rattle spring clip, keeping the discs completely silent in operation with none of the off-brake disc rattle common to other two-piece designs.

A directional design featuring 48 curved vanes efficiently dissipates heat to maintain lower operating temperatures and delay the onset of brake fade, while the precision-machined, hard-anodized aerospace-grade aluminum bell keeps the whole assembly lighter than a comparable OE disc, reducing unsprung rotational mass for sharper turn-in and improved tire road holding.
