Product Description

The EBC SR-11 DP83023.15SR11 is a dedicated rear-axle endurance race brake pad engineered for the 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7 platform - covering Stingray, Z51, Grand Sport, and Z06 variants equipped with factory iron rotors. Built from EBC's sintered copper-alloy race compound at the brand's US manufacturing facility, the SR-11 delivers a stable 0.50µ medium friction coefficient across a 0-900°C operating range, providing the controllable rear-axle braking response needed to complement higher-friction front pads in a balanced race brake system.

As the lower-friction sibling to EBC's SR-21 compound, the SR-11 is specifically targeted at the rear axle of race cars equipped with brake bias controls or for vehicles where a softer, more progressive rear pad characteristic is desired. The transfer film technology lays down a protective layer on the rotor face, virtually eliminating disc wear while extending pad life 3-5 times beyond typical semi-metallic race compounds. The ZR1 with its J57 carbon-ceramic brake package requires a different pad reference and is not compatible.
