Product Description

The EBC UD1610 Ultimax2 Rear Brake Pad Set is an OE-replacement application for selected BMW 3 Series and 4 Series models. The pads use EBC's daily-driver-oriented Ultimax friction material to provide dependable braking performance with an emphasis on smooth operation, controlled wear and everyday drivability.

The UD1610 uses the D1610 friction pattern with a 22 mm pad thickness. Its aramid-fiber-based friction material is combined with a shimmed, slotted and chamfered design to support consistent pad contact and help control brake noise. EBC's Brake-In coating is designed to assist with initial bedding following installation.

UD1610 is a vehicle-specific replacement pad and should not be treated as a universal BMW application. Before installation, match the vehicle's model year, engine, drivetrain, rear caliper and factory rotor configuration to the validated application. M3/M4 and newer-generation applications should not be substituted without confirmed compatibility.
