Product Description

The EBC DP4062R Yellowstuff is a set of high-friction performance brake pads designed for the AP Racing CP7040 6-piston caliper, commonly found on McLaren 12C, 540C, 570S, and 570GT models with iron brake discs, as well as aftermarket big brake kits using the CP7040 caliper family. Yellowstuff is EBC's flagship fast street compound -- an aramid fiber-based formulation that delivers high friction from cold with no warm-up required for street use, yet gets progressively stronger as temperatures rise under hard driving. The stable 0.42mu friction coefficient holds up to 450°C, making these pads ideal for spirited street driving and lighter track applications.

The 2021-updated copper-free compound provides extended pad life and environmental compliance while maintaining the signature Yellowstuff braking character. Each pad is fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted for quiet operation with EBC's Brake-In surface coating to accelerate bed-in after installation. For dedicated track use above 450°C, EBC recommends upgrading to Bluestuff (DP5062NDX) or their RP/SR series race pads. Yellowstuff dust levels are medium -- for a lower-dust street pad, consider EBC Redstuff (not available for all caliper applications). Replaces AP Racing pad shape CP7040D54. UK manufactured.
