The EBC DP41208R Yellowstuff Street and Track Rear Brake Pads are engineered for the rear axle of the Porsche 911 (996 and 997.1), Boxster (986 and 987), and Cayman (987) running cast iron rotors. Coverage spans 1998-2008 Porsche 911 Carrera variants, 1997-2012 Boxster, and 2006-2012 Cayman across base and performance trims. The Yellowstuff aramid fiber compound delivers high friction from cold start with a 0.5 coefficient that improves brake effect approximately 30-40% over factory pads, with zero brake fade under sustained heavy use and ECE R90 certification for street legality.

Every pad features the patented EBC Brake-In surface coating that accelerates pad seating, edge chamfers and centerline slots for noise control, Nucap NRS hooks for secure bonding to the backing plate, and noise reduction shims. The 2021 reformulation removed copper to meet environmental legislation. Working temperature range extends from cold to 900°C (1652°F), making the pad equally suited to spirited street driving and short-duration track use.
