The EBC Yellowstuff DP4997R is a high-performance front brake pad built around the large Brembo and AP Racing 4-piston caliper architecture shared across a wide range of Volkswagen Group and Porsche platforms - spanning the Audi A3 (8P/8V) and S3, the full Volkswagen Golf IV through VII GTI and Golf R lineage, the Corrado, Jetta, EOS, Beetle, Passat, and on the Porsche side, the iconic 911 Turbo (993), 928 GTS, and 968 Turbo. Despite the breadth of applications, these vehicles share the same large front caliper geometry, making this a single precision-fit solution across three decades of European performance engineering.

Built on EBC's aramid fiber Yellowstuff compound, these pads deliver immediate, strong bite from a cold pedal with consistent, fade-free braking up to 450°C - well matched to the demanding braking requirements of turbocharged hot hatches, all-wheel-drive sports compacts, and high-displacement Porsche GT cars alike. Installation is a direct replacement with no modifications required. Each pad ships pre-coated with EBC's red Brake-In surface treatment to shorten the initial bedding period.
