Product Description

The EBC GD7008 is a 3GD Series dimpled and slotted rear rotor engineered for the 1988-1996 Chevrolet Corvette C4 5.7L, delivering all the cooling benefits and aesthetics of a cross-drilled rotor without the drawbacks. Wide-aperture slots continually sweep the braking zone, drawing cool air into the contact area and venting away gasses and debris to reduce brake fade under heavy use.

Dimple drilling provides further venting of built-up gasses without cross-drilling through the rotor's cheek facings, avoiding the localized stress points and heat-cracking common to fully cross-drilled rotors. Machined from high-carbon G3000 gray cast iron to OE dimensions and tight tolerances, this rotor also maintains flat, parallel pad wear throughout its service life, avoiding the record grooves and galling common with non-slotted rotors. A gold anodized finish protects against corrosion while giving the rotor a distinctive look.

This rotor is intended for Corvette C4 owners looking for a genuine cooling and fade-resistance upgrade over a standard plain rotor, and performs best when paired with EBC Greenstuff 6000/7000, Yellowstuff, or Redstuff brake pads.
