Product Description

The EBC DP4779R Yellowstuff front brake pads deliver impressive cold-bite and performance for classic BMW E30 and Z1 models, as well as Saab 9000, using Girling/TRW front calipers. With an aramid-fibre compound (µ≈0.48 once bedded) and pre-applied Brake-In™ surface coating, these pads offer fast bedding and immediate braking response, ideal for spirited street use and occasional track days.

Engineered with slotted, chamfered edges and full shims, these copper-free pads minimize noise, dust, and rotor wear. The Yellowstuff compound holds steady up to 450 °C under regular driving, tolerating short heat spikes to ~650 °C. ECE R90 certification ensures they're road-legal, while their track suitability makes them a balanced choice for enthusiasts seeking performance without sacrificing daily drivability.
