Product Description

The EBC DP32423C is a set of Redstuff 3000 series ceramic front brake pads engineered for the Mercedes-AMG compact performance lineup, covering the A35, CLA35, CLA45, GLA35, GLA45, and GLB35 models equipped with the 2.0-liter M139 turbocharged four-cylinder. EBC's Redstuff compound uses aramid fibers enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, providing 20 to 25 percent better stopping power than factory pads while reducing brake dust output by up to 80 percent.

The compound contains zero steel fibers, which means the minimal dust produced washes off easily with water and will not etch or stain alloy wheels -- a critical advantage for prestige European vehicles with large exposed wheel faces. Every pad features EBC's Brake-In surface coating to condition the rotor surface and accelerate bed-in, along with the NRS mechanical hook retention system for a secure bond between friction material and backplate. The Redstuff formula is fully ECE R90 brake safety certified and carries the Leaf Mark with the highest N environmental rating, containing no lead, nickel, copper, antimony sulfides, or asbestos.

These pads are designed exclusively for spirited street driving and daily use -- they are not rated for track, HPDE, or competition applications. For track use, EBC recommends their Yellowstuff, Bluestuff, RP1, or RPX compounds. Bed-in times can reach 1,000 miles of urban driving, during which occasional cold-start chirping at walking speed is normal and clears with a single brake application.
