Product Description

The EBC DP42390R is a set of Yellowstuff high-performance front brake pads for the 2019-2022 Mercedes-Benz A220, 2020-2023 CLA250, GLA250, GLB250, and GLE350. Yellowstuff uses an aramid fiber-based compound that delivers high friction from cold without warm-up, while increasing bite further under heat and heavy braking. Nucap NRS mechanical hooks on the back plates eliminate pad delamination risk, and edge chamfers with noise reduction shims ensure quiet, smooth braking. A Brake-In surface coating accelerates pad seating after installation, and Thermic Black anti-corrosion coating protects all exposed surfaces -- it does not need to be removed and wears away naturally within the first 10 to 20 stops. EBC upgraded the Yellowstuff formula in 2021 to a copper-free compound for environmental compliance. These pads are ECE R90 type-approved for street use and suited for spirited driving, towing, and heavy-load applications. EBC recommends Bluestuff for dedicated track use due to faster bed-in.
