Product Description

The EBC Yellowstuff DP43120R is a direct-fit rear performance brake pad for the 2020-2023 Ford Explorer ST, Platinum, and King Ranch (with Performance Brake Package), and all 2020-2023 Lincoln Aviator variants including Grand Touring PHEV and Livery. Both platforms share the same rear brake architecture (FMSI D2231), making this a single upgrade solution across Ford Motor Company's flagship performance SUV lineup. Built on EBC's heavy-duty Yellowstuff Truck Sport compound, these rear pads deliver significantly stronger stopping power than the OEM units from the first cold pedal press - critical for vehicles in the 5,000-6,000 lb range under aggressive braking, towing, or repeated hard stops.

Installation is a direct replacement with no modifications required. Each pad ships pre-coated with EBC's red Brake-In surface treatment to shorten the bedding period after install. For a fully balanced front-to-rear brake upgrade, pair with EBC DP43118R front pads. Always verify your Explorer's brake package - this application fits the performance brake-equipped trims; standard brake-equipped Explorer variants use a different rear pad application.
