Product Description

The EBC GD2028 is a pair of 3GD Series Sport dimpled and slotted front brake rotors for the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) and 2023-2025 Civic Type R (FL5). These 350mm vented rotors feature EBC's wide aperture slot design that draws cool air beneath the brake pad to reduce operating temperatures and resist fade, while blind-drilled dimples degas the pad surface without the cracking risk associated with through-drilled rotors. The slots are machined to the full edge of the rotor to effectively expel water, mud, and debris from the braking surface, ensuring consistent pad contact and flat, parallel pad wear throughout the life of the brake pad set. Cast from OE spec grey cast iron in EBC's own UK foundry, these rotors are protected by a thermic anti-corrosion coating on non-swept surfaces. Every batch undergoes 100% run-out and dimensional inspection including element analysis, surface finish, and hardness testing. Ideal for performance street driving, spirited canyon runs, and occasional track use.
