Product Description

The EBC DP32289C Redstuff is a set of ceramic low-dust front brake pads for select BMW G30 5 Series (530i, 530e, 540i), G05 X5 xDrive40i, G06 X6 xDrive40i, and i4 eDrive40 models equipped with 348mm front rotors. EBC Redstuff is a Kevlar fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, designed as a premium low-dust street pad for prestige and high-performance vehicles. The ceramic formulation reduces brake dust by approximately 80% compared to OEM steel fiber pads, keeping wheels cleaner while also reducing rotor wear for significantly extended rotor life.

Redstuff provides strong cold bite for effective stopping power from the first pedal application, making it an excellent choice for daily-driven BMWs where both performance and cleanliness matter. Each pad is fully shimmed, slotted, and chamfered for quiet operation, with EBC's Brake-In surface coating to accelerate the bed-in process. Full bed-in requires up to 1,000 miles of normal urban driving, during which occasional cold-start chirping may occur in damp conditions -- this clears with normal use. For optimum balanced braking, EBC recommends installing Redstuff on both front and rear axles. Not recommended for dedicated track use -- see EBC Yellowstuff or Bluestuff for track applications.
