Product Description

The EBC DP22146 Greenstuff 2000 Series front brake pads are a direct-fit sport upgrade for the 2016-2017 Smart Fortwo (C453) equipped with the 0.9L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine. Engineered from an aramid fiber compound enhanced with ceramic granules, these pads deliver up to 15% better stopping power than factory pads while producing noticeably less brake dust. The EBC Brake-In red surface coating accelerates the bedding process for confident braking right after installation, and Nucap NRS hook technology ensures a secure pad-to-backing-plate bond throughout the life of the pad.

Greenstuff 2000 pads are designed for spirited street driving and daily commuting -- not track use. For heavier braking demands or track days, consider the EBC Yellowstuff (DP42146R) or Bluestuff compound. For a low-dust ceramic alternative, EBC Redstuff is available in the same fitment.
