• On the Volkswagen GTI MK8 (2022+), this pad fits only on models equipped with an electronic parking brake (EPB). GTI MK8 models without electronic parking brake require a different pad.

• GTI Performance Package (PP) models with upgraded rear calipers - verify caliper type before ordering.

The EBC DP32153C Redstuff 3000 Series rear brake pads are engineered for performance-minded drivers on MQB-platform Volkswagen and Audi vehicles who demand exceptional stopping power without the unsightly brake dust that plagues most performance compounds. Using an aramid fiber base enhanced with ceramic particles, Redstuff delivers a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 - tested by the UK Motor Industries Research Association (MIRA) to reduce stopping distance by nearly 50 feet from 100 MPH compared to stock pads - all while cutting brake dust output by approximately 80%. This means cleaner wheels, less rotor wear, and longer combined pad and rotor life.

These pads are a direct bolt-in replacement for the rear calipers on a broad range of MQB-based vehicles spanning 2015 through 2023, including the Volkswagen GTI (Mk7/Mk7.5), Golf R (Mk7/Mk7.5), e-Golf, Arteon, Atlas, Atlas Cross Sport, Jetta Mk7, and Tiguan MQB, as well as the Audi A3 8V, S3 8V, Q3 F3, TT MK3, and TTS MK3. All pads arrive with EBC's Brake-In™ surface coating pre-applied for immediate effective braking straight from installation, with full performance developing over approximately 500-1,500 km of urban use as the compound fully beds into the rotor surface. Note that for 2022+ GTI MK8 applications, this pad is compatible only on models equipped with an electronic parking brake; MK8 Golf R owners should refer to DP32438C.

Ideal for drivers who want a significant upgrade over OEM rear braking performance on their hot hatch, performance sedan, or crossover - without transitioning to a high-maintenance track compound. Redstuff pads are not designed for sustained track use; for track or HPDE applications, EBC recommends upgrading to their Yellowstuff or Bluestuff NDX ranges at both axles. Always fit the same compound grade at both front and rear for balanced, predictable braking performance.
