Product Description

The EBC DP51789NDX Bluestuff NDX pads are a full-race front brake compound engineered for the Gen 2 MINI Cooper S platform, covering the R55 through R61 body variants from 2007 to 2016. Matched to the Cooper S's 294mm vented front rotors, these pads deliver the high-friction stopping power and precise cold bite that the turbocharged 1.6L platform needs for track day use, autocross competition, or aggressive street driving. The NDX compound at 0.52 Mu provides a linear, progressive pedal feel that works immediately from cold - no warm-up laps required.

EBC's NUCAP NRS hook bonding system and chemical interlayer lock the friction material firmly to the backing plate under sustained thermal loading, while the pre-scorched pad surface dramatically shortens bed-in time. Note that this pad is specific to the standard Cooper S brake setup - MINI models with the factory JCW Brembo brake kit (316mm front rotors, 4-piston calipers) and base Cooper models require separate EBC applications. For all other Gen 2 Cooper S variants across all body styles, the DP51789NDX is a proven, direct-fit front upgrade.
