Product Description

The EBC RK2163 is a pair of RK Series Premium OE-style rear brake rotors designed as a direct replacement for the factory rear rotors on the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8). These solid (non-vented) 305mm rear rotors are cast from G3000 specification grey iron, the same grade used in OE production, providing high carbon content that resists heat cracking, reduces brake shudder, and dampens high-frequency vibrations. Each rotor is precision-machined on state-of-the-art equipment, dynamically balanced, and individually runout inspected to guarantee zero distortion out of the box and perfect alignment when installed. The rotors are mechanically de-stressed during manufacturing to eliminate internal stresses that can cause warping under repeated heat cycling. A silver grey Geomet-style anti-corrosive coating protects the hub and non-friction surfaces from rust and corrosion, maintaining a clean appearance behind the wheel. These rotors are designed as a direct bolt-on replacement that meets or exceeds OE specifications with no modifications required. EBC recommends pairing these rotors with their Ultimax pads for daily driving or Yellowstuff pads for spirited street and light track use.
