The EBC DP43040R Yellowstuff is a full race-derived front brake pad set built specifically for Performance Package-equipped Ford Mustang GT, Bullitt, and Mach 1 models, using an aramid fiber compound to deliver superb bite from cold -- a rare trait among race compounds that typically require a warm-up lap before reaching full effectiveness. Once loaded up and running hot, Yellowstuff continues to perform, resisting the fade that plagues lesser high-performance pads even at sustained, elevated temperatures.

This compound holds up even at truck and towing weights without heat fade, and its trackday and drift-proven performance makes it a genuine street-and-track pad rather than a compromise between the two. Despite its aggressive friction profile, the synthetic compound keeps dust to a minimum and easy to wash off, and every pad arrives with EBC's Brake-In surface coating to speed up the bedding process after installation.
