Product Description

The EBC DP43014R Yellowstuff is a front brake pad set for the 2013-2023 Honda Accord and 2016-2023 Honda HR-V, representing EBC's flagship street and track compound. Yellowstuff uses an aramid fiber-based formulation that delivers exceptional cold bite without requiring any warm-up period -- an unusual trait for a high-friction race-grade material -- making it equally at home on cold morning commutes and sustained hard braking on circuit. Under heat, the compound strengthens rather than fading, providing progressively better stopping power as brake temperatures rise through repeated hard use. Each pad ships with EBC's factory Brake-In surface coating, which eliminates green fade and dramatically accelerates the bed-in process. Deep V-grooves vent heat and clear debris from the friction surface to maintain consistent pad-to-rotor contact. Despite the race-specification compound, Yellowstuff uses aramid fibers that are significantly gentler on rotors than metallic or semi-metallic compounds, reducing rotor scoring and extending rotor service life. ECE R90 type approval confirms the compound meets European road safety standards from cold. Front axle only. Rear pads for the same applications are EBC DP43015R, sold separately.
