Product Description

The EBC GD7585 3GD Series Rear Brake Rotors are a direct-fit performance upgrade for Gen 1 Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, and Subaru BRZ owners looking to improve braking confidence on the street. The combination of wide-aperture slots and blind-drilled dimples - a design pioneered by EBC - keeps pad and rotor temperatures lower under hard braking, while expelling heat, dust, and gases without introducing the crack risk of through-drilled holes. The result is more consistent pedal feel and reduced fade across spirited street driving.

Each rotor is cast from G3000 high-carbon iron and precision CNC machined to extremely tight tolerances, then individually balanced and runout-inspected before shipping. The Thermic Black coating protects the non-swept areas from corrosion right out of the box and clears naturally from the pad contact zone within the first few stops. EBC recommends pairing these rotors with their Greenstuff, Redstuff, or Yellowstuff brake pads for best results, and advises a 500-mile break-in period with moderate braking to properly bed the new rotor and pad surfaces.
