Fitment Notes

  • Fits all North American-market Fiat 500 and 500c (Cabrio) body styles from model year 2012 through 2019 with the standard 284mm front vented disc
  • Fiat 500e (electric) owners: the rotor is physically the same, but the 500e's regenerative braking system places significantly less demand on the front discs - confirm fitment with your service center before ordering
  • Does not fit the 2020+ Fiat 500 (new platform) or the Fiat 500X - those use different front brake specifications
  • Thermic Black coating does not require removal before install - clears naturally from the pad contact zone within the first 10-20 stops
  • Do not fit upgrade pads to the rear unless the same upgrade is also fitted to the front

Features

  • Manufactured to OE factory dimensions from premium G3000 high-carbon grey iron for consistent thermal performance, noise characteristics, and rotor life
  • 100% individually runout-inspected before release - guarantees zero distortion and smooth, vibration-free braking from the first stop
  • Black GEOMET or Thermic Black anti-corrosion coating protects the rotor hat and vane areas from road salt, brine, and moisture throughout service life
  • Precision CNC machined to within 0.05mm tolerances for a direct-fit installation with no shimming or modification required
  • Higher carbon and silicone content than many OE rotors promotes graphite formation during curing - improving heat dispersal and reducing the risk of vibration and warping
  • Fully balanced before shipping for a smooth, pedal-pulse-free feel from installation day one
  • Meets or exceeds all OE specifications for stopping distance, noise, vibration, and longevity
  • Sold as a pair - covers both front axle positions in a single order

Product Description

The EBC RK414 is a premium OE-grade replacement front brake rotor for the Fiat 500 and 500c across all trim levels from 2012 through 2019 - from the peppy base Pop to the turbocharged Turbo and the Abarth performance variant. All North American 500 and 500c models use the same 284mm four-bolt front vented disc, and the RK414 is engineered to match it exactly in size, offset, and hat geometry. Where performance-oriented slotted or dimpled rotors are designed to run harder and faster, the RK Series delivers factory-equivalent stopping characteristics - quiet, smooth, and predictable - keeping the 500's fun-to-drive character intact for daily commuting and weekend drives.

Each rotor is individually balanced and 100% runout-inspected before leaving the factory, so there is no extended bedding-in period needed to eliminate pedal pulsation - they arrive ready to install. The GEOMET or Thermic Black anti-corrosion coating protects non-swept areas from corrosion and clears from the contact zone within the first 10-20 stops. EBC recommends pairing the RK414 with Greenstuff or Redstuff front brake pads for a complete street-optimized front brake refresh, and a 500-mile gradual break-in period to fully seat the new pad-to-rotor contact surfaces.
