Product Description

The EBC GD1845 is a front axle pair of 3GD Sport dimpled and slotted brake rotors sized at 356x34mm for Audi A6 (C6/C7), A7 (C7), and A8 (D3/D4) Quattro models equipped with the 356mm front brake package. Cast from G3000-grade grey iron to OE factory specifications, each rotor features EBC's signature wide-aperture 3-slot design that channels cool air directly into the pad-to-rotor contact zone, reducing temperatures and preventing brake fade during spirited driving. The dimple drilling pattern degasses brake pads under hard use without the stress risers created by traditional through-drilled holes, eliminating the cracking risk common in cross-drilled rotors.

All non-swept surfaces are finished in EBC's Thermic Black anti-corrosion coating, which wears off naturally in the pad contact area within the first 10 to 20 stops. The rotors are precision machined to fall within 0.05mm runout tolerances and are directional -- each pair includes a correctly oriented left and right rotor for proper slot and dimple function. Manufactured at EBC's Northampton, UK foundry using R90-approved blanks. Some air noise under braking is normal with slotted rotors; for a quieter option in the same fitment, see the EBC USR1845 (slotted only) or BSD1845 (blade slot).
