Product Description

The EBC DP31493C Redstuff Ceramic front brake pads are a low dust performance upgrade for select 2004-2013 BMW 1 Series (E82/E88), 3 Series (E90/E91/E92/E93), and 5 Series (E60/E61) models equipped with ATE front calipers and standard front brakes. Engineered from an advanced aramid fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles, Redstuff pads reduce brake dust by 60-90% compared to OEM pads while delivering 20-25% improved braking performance over stock. The dust produced contains no steel fiber particles, so it will not embed into alloy wheels and washes off easily with a sponge. Each pad is fully shimmed, chamfered, and slotted for quiet operation and arrives with EBC's Brake-In surface coating that conditions the rotor surface and accelerates bed-in after installation. With a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5µ, these pads deliver strong initial bite from cold and progressively improve as temperatures rise. Tested to ECE R90 standards and fully street legal, Redstuff pads are designed for fast street driving on prestige European vehicles. Not recommended for track use.
