Product Description

The EBC UD1095 is a rear Ultimax OEM Plus brake pad set covering a wide range of European and domestic vehicles sharing the FMSI D1095 pad shape. Applications span the Saab 9-3 (2003-2011) and 9-3X, Ford Focus (2012-2018), Ford Escape (2013-2016), Ford C-Max, Ford Transit Connect, Mazda 3 and 5, Volvo S40, V50, C30 and C70, Jaguar S-Type, XF, XJ and XKR, Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, and Chevrolet Cobalt. These pads install directly in place of OEM rear pads with no modifications required.

Built in EBC's UK facility and certified to ECE R90 safety standards, the UD1095 uses an aramid fiber-based compound with zero steel fiber content. This means significantly less abrasion against cast iron rotors compared to semi-metallic alternatives, reducing rotor wear and extending disc life. Each pad ships with EBC's pre-applied Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor during the first dozen stops to deliver confident, consistent braking from the moment of installation. Center slots, edge chamfers, and reverse-side noise shims are all standard, ensuring quiet, vibration-free operation.

The UD1095 is the right choice for daily drivers and commuters who want premium OEM-equivalent braking performance without the cost of dealer parts. It is not designed for track or spirited performance use - for those applications, consider EBC's Yellowstuff or Bluestuff grades.
