Product Description

EBC's 3GD Series Sport rotors bring wide-aperture slotted and dimpled performance to the BMW X5 and X6, engineered to draw cool air into the braking contact area and reduce temperatures that lead to brake fade. Unlike through-drilled rotors, EBC's dimple drilling design avoids the stress crack issues common with cross-drilled rotors while still promoting pad degassing.

A reduced 3-slot venting design keeps air noise down under hard braking while retaining the full cooling benefit of the wide slot pattern. Slotted rotors also help maintain flat, parallel pad wear over the rotor's life, avoiding the record-groove galling common on non-slotted designs -- improving pad contact and braking consistency from install to replacement.

Made from OE-spec grey cast iron and finished in a gold anodized coating for corrosion resistance, these rotors have passed European R90 brake safety testing. Note: these are directional rotors -- the sweeping slot pattern must be installed pointing toward the rear of the vehicle for correct operation.
