Product Description

The EBC GD1524 is a high-performance rear brake rotor set designed for BMW X5 (E70/F15) and X6 (E71/F16) platforms equipped with larger OEM sport braking systems. Built under EBC's GD Series, these rotors use a slotted and dimpled design to improve braking consistency, heat management, and overall stopping performance under heavy SUV loads.

The slot pattern continuously clears dust, gases, and moisture from the brake pad surface, improving bite and maintaining stable braking response. The dimpled surface reduces heat stress compared to fully drilled rotors, helping prevent cracking while still enhancing cooling efficiency.

Manufactured from OE-grade cast iron with a corrosion-resistant Geomet coating, the GD1524 provides long service life and stable performance in both daily driving and spirited road conditions. It is intended as a direct upgrade for factory rear sport brake systems and must be matched to the correct 320mm rear rotor configuration for proper fitment and safety.
