Product Description

The EBC BSD7116 is a pair of BSD Blade Sport front brake rotors for a broad range of Honda and Acura applications sharing the 282mm front rotor platform -- including the Honda Civic (2006-2021), Accord (select 1998-2012 trims), CR-V (2002-2004), CR-Z (2011-2016), Element (2003-2011), Insight (2019-2022), and the Acura CSX (2006-2011, Canada). BSD rotors use EBC's bi-directional blade slot design featuring multiple overlapping slots engineered to evacuate hot gases, water, dust, and debris from the braking zone more efficiently than a uni-directional slot. The overlap geometry also minimizes wind noise, making BSDs quieter in operation than conventional slotted rotors.

Cast from GS3000 high-carbon, high-silicone grey iron and heat-treated for thermal stability, BSD rotors are precision balanced and finished in Thermic Black corrosion-resistant coating at EBC's Northampton, UK facility. The Thermic Black coating self-removes from the friction surface within the first 10-20 stops -- no prep required before installation. EBC strongly recommends pairing BSD rotors with EBC brand brake pads; use of other brands may damage the rotor surface. Not for race or track day use.
