Product Description

The EBC DP51740NDX Bluestuff NDX pads are a full-race front brake compound built for the 2005-2010 Ford Mustang platform, covering the V6 Base, GT, Shelby GT, and Bullitt variants equipped with 12.4 in (316mm) front vented rotors. Running the high-friction NDX compound at 0.52 Mu, these pads deliver confident front bite from cold with a progressive, controllable pedal feel - making them equally capable on a weekend track day or an aggressive canyon drive. The NUCAP NRS hook bonding system and chemical interlayer ensure the friction material stays firmly anchored to the backing plate under sustained thermal stress, a key advantage over conventional bonded pads at elevated rotor temperatures.

Designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory front calipers, installation requires no modifications. EBC's pre-scorched pad surface shortens the bed-in process significantly, so you can evaluate their true stopping performance quickly and safely. Note that the Shelby GT500 uses a larger Brembo front brake setup incompatible with this pad shape - Mustang GT500 owners will need a separate EBC application. For all other S197 Mustang variants, the DP51740NDX is a proven front upgrade that bridges aggressive street performance and entry-level track use.
