Product Description

The EBC GD729 is a 3GD Series dimpled and slotted front rotor pair (277mm) covering a wide range of Subaru, Toyota, Scion, and Saab platforms sharing the same front rotor spec -- including the BRZ/GR86/FR-S family from 2013 onward and the legacy Subaru GD/GG/BL Impreza, Legacy, Forester, and Outback platforms from 1991 through 2016. The 3GD combines wide aperture radial slots with dimple drilling -- the slots draw cooler air into the braking zone and continuously deglaze the pad surface to prevent glazing and gassing, while the dimples improve heat outgassing without the stress concentration risk of through-drilled holes.

EBC's Nitrotherm coating is applied using a warm nitrogen process that provides superior corrosion resistance over traditional zinc plating. The GS3000 grey iron casting matches OE material specification, and each rotor is 100% runout inspected before shipment. Some wind noise at speed is normal with slotted rotors -- for a quieter alternative, see the EBC USR729 (slotted only) or RK729 (plain). Not for race, track day, or competition use -- warranty is invalid for those applications. Made in the UK. 1-year / 10,000-mile street warranty.
