Product Description

The EBC GD1153 is a 3GD series dimpled and slotted front brake rotor set for the Audi TT MkI Quattro (8N) and Volkswagen Golf MkIV R32, both of which use the 334x32mm ATE caliper front brake setup. The 3GD design combines wide-aperture scraper slots with semi-spherical dimples -- the slots draw cool air across the pad contact surface and vent hot gases outward, while the dimples enhance rotor rigidity and improve heat dissipation without the stress-cracking risk associated with fully drilled rotors. The directional vane design optimizes rotational airflow for maximum thermal management under hard braking.

Manufactured in the UK from G3000 grade cast iron machined to within ±0.05mm tolerances, each rotor receives a GEOMET corrosion-resistant coating and is dynamically balanced before shipment. These rotors are compatible with Quattro (AWD) TT variants only -- FWD TT models use a smaller 288mm rotor and require a different part number.
