Product Description

The EBC DP4781/2R is a Yellowstuff 4000 series rear brake pad set for 1991-2011 Acura, Honda, and Isuzu applications -- covering the Legend, CL, TL, RL, RDX, CR-V, Element, Odyssey, and Isuzu Oasis. Yellowstuff is EBC's highest-friction street and track compound, built on an aramid fiber base that delivers exceptional cold bite without requiring a warm-up period -- a key differentiator from conventional race pads. The compound delivers a stable 0.42 µ friction coefficient from cold all the way up to race temperatures of 450°C, making it effective from the first stop of a cold morning as well as under sustained hard braking on track or during towing.

Yellowstuff is not a low-dust pad -- dust output is similar to OEM, unlike EBC's Redstuff ceramic line. It is the correct choice when maximum stopping power is the priority over wheel cleanliness. The 2021 reformulation removed all copper from the compound to comply with environmental legislation, while maintaining the same friction characteristics. Centerline slots manage heat and debris, chamfered edges reduce noise, and noise reduction shims are included. EBC Brake-In coating accelerates initial bed-in.
