Under driving conditions where one wheel starts to lose grip, the Detroit Locker automatically locks both wheels solid - ensuring torque is sent to both rear wheels for superior trail, mud, towing, and performance driving benefits. When turning or differential wheel speed is required, it unlocks automatically to allow smooth and safe operation.

Supporting all gearing options, this locker offers excellent flexibility. If your build or driving needs call for higher numeric gear ratios (4.56 or above), note that installation will require relief grinding on the ring gear tooth crown to clear the locker internals. Otherwise, with standard gear ratios, installation is straightforward.
