Product Description

The Eagle CRS5630H3D connecting rods are built for performance and reliability in Honda's legendary H22 / H22A1 engines, especially in Honda Prelude models from 1993 through 2001. Forged from premium 4340 chromoly steel, these H-beam rods are built to withstand high RPMs and power levels, while keeping weight in check. The small end is bushed to accept floating wrist pins for accurate piston pin retention, and each rod is weight-matched to ensure engine balance. Built-in ARP 2000 bolts and shot-peened surfaces further boost durability under stress.

These rods are ideal for owners or builders upgrading or rebuilding the H22 engine - whether naturally aspirated or forced induction. With the correct supporting modifications, the CRS5630H3D can handle power levels substantially above stock, up to around 750 hp in well-built applications. Use the ARP 2000 rod bolts torqued to 43 ft-lbs with ARP moly lube; verify that piston-to-cylinder clearances and any stroker-mod concerns are addressed because these rods are **not** clearanced for big stroke beyond stock dimensions. Fitment is confirmed for all 1993-2001 Honda Preludes using the H22 / H22A1 engine. If used in other models using H22/H22A1, match journal, pin, and bore specs before installation.
