The Eagle CRS5483F3D is a high-performance set of forged 4340 steel H-beam connecting rods engineered for Ford's classic Zetec DOHC 1.8-2.0L engines. Built from two-piece forgings, each rod is meticulously machined, shot-peened, magnafluxed, and sonic tested to ensure consistent strength and durability. The floating wrist pin design, matched weight set, and use of ARP 2000 grade bolts enable these rods to handle serious power, making them ideal for high-rev, boosted, or competition builds.

With a rod length of 5.483 inches (~139.27 mm), these rods match the stock length for the 1.8-2.0 Zetec engines found in Focus Mk1 (1998-2004) and Mondeo Mk2 (1998-2004). They are not stroked or modified for increased stroke, so crank compatibility must be stock. Fitment is confirmed through 2004; 2005 and beyond are unverified for this classic Zetec engine family.
