The DV8 Offroad TCJL-04 is a tailgate reinforcement MOLLE panel engineered for all 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL and JL Unlimited models. The factory JL tailgate handles the spare tire load through a relatively small mounting bracket - and when owners upgrade to heavier 35-inch tires, the concentrated weight on that bracket accelerates hinge wear and can cause the tailgate to sag or drift over time. The TCJL-04 bolts to the tailgate and spreads the spare tire's weight across the full door structure, reducing localized hinge stress and providing meaningful reassurance for 35-inch tire setups without requiring any modification to the factory tire mounting position.

The integrated MOLLE grid across the panel face adds an equally practical secondary function, providing mounting points directly on the tailgate for pouches, med kits, recovery tools, holsters, and other trail gear that would otherwise take up cargo space inside the Jeep.
