Product Description

The DKM MS-006-075 Stage 3 Twin Disc Clutch Kit is built for N54-powered BMWs - the E60 535i/535xi, E82/E88 135i, and E90 335i/335xi - that have outgrown what a single-disc clutch can reliably hold. Twin 240mm sprung organic discs push torque capacity to roughly 650-660 ft-lbs (about 900 Nm) at the wheels, a 100-200% increase over stock, while spreading pressure and heat across more contact surface area for a longer service life under repeated hard use.

Despite the serious torque rating, the organic friction material keeps the clutch genuinely street-drivable - stop-and-go traffic, hill starts, and daily commuting stay manageable rather than feeling like a race car clutch. The twin-plate design also roughly halves the pedal effort needed to hold the same torque a comparable single-disc clutch would require. The kit includes a steel single-mass flywheel with an 8-bolt pattern, so it's a complete, ready-to-install package rather than requiring a separate flywheel purchase.
