Product Description

The DKM MB-034-062 is a Stage 2 MB performance clutch kit for the 2006-2008 VW/Audi 2.0T FSI 6-bolt motor platform -- covering the Audi A3 8P FWD, VW GTI, Jetta V, Golf V, EOS, and Passat B6, all in 2.0T FSI configuration. The MB kit is DKM's aggressive street and track day offering, delivering an 80% increase in torque capacity over OEM with a rating of 440 ft-lb at the wheels. The sprung organic disc uses a woven brass and organic friction material blend with alloy backings for smooth, progressive engagement that remains streetable despite the increased clamp load.

The kit replaces the factory Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) with a lightweight billet steel single mass flywheel, reducing rotating mass for improved throttle response and rev matching. Note: converting from a DMF to a single mass flywheel introduces NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) and drivetrain chatter that was isolated by the OEM DMF -- this is expected and normal behavior, not a defect. 2.0T FSI 6-bolt motor only -- does not fit the 2008+ 2.0T TSI 8-bolt motor (see MB-034-060 for that application).
