Unlike conventional LED dies that lose thermal efficiency due to electrical connections at the base, TST LEDs move those connections to the top of the chip - allowing the entire bottom surface to channel heat away from the emitter. This enables the SL2 Pro to operate at higher sustained power levels while maintaining the precise optical focus required to produce a functional, usable beam pattern rather than blinding glare.

The result is a dual-filament output of 1,370 measured lumens on low beam and 2,040 measured lumens on high beam per bulb - both figures validated in Diode Dynamics' in-house photometric lab, not calculated from chip ratings.
