Vehicle Fitment

• Universal - fits T4 turbocharger housings across all vehicle applications, including Garrett and Mitsubishi brand turbo housings, as well as several other popular T4-style turbochargers

Fitment Notes

• Designed for T4 turbine housing configurations. Measure your turbo body circumference (20"-22") and width (~2.75"), excluding flanges, to confirm correct sizing before ordering.
• This listing is for the shield only (DEI 10269), which includes 5 ft of 22 gauge stainless steel wire. The full GEN-3 T4 kit (DEI 10263) includes the shield plus 15 ft of exhaust wrap, two 20" stainless locking ties, and 5 ft of stainless wire.
• Once heat-cycled, the shield's outer shell will cure and become less flexible. This does not reduce thermal performance - it is by design and normal for this product.
• Ensure all oil supply lines and fluid fittings are properly sealed prior to installation. Flammable fluid contamination may create fire risk.

The DEI 10269 GEN-3 Onyx Series T4 Turbo Shield represents the pinnacle of DEI's turbo heat management technology. Built around a revolutionary 4-layer construction, this shield combines a silicone-coated Onyx Black outer shell with a thick silica insulation layer, a stainless/glass fiber/silicone inner layer, and a stainless steel mesh inner liner - delivering maximum heat retention, structural strength, and chemical resistance in a single shield. The double-stitched stainless steel thread seams are over four times stronger than previous generation Onyx shields, and the silicone coating locks those seams in while preventing fraying and oil soak over time.

By maintaining a consistent, high temperature within the turbine housing, the GEN-3 Onyx T4 shield accelerates spool-up, reduces turbo lag, and lowers underhood radiant heat to protect hoods, painted surfaces, and surrounding components.
