Fitment Notes

• Designed for single-pump installations. Two kits are required for dual-pump setups.
• 12-gauge SLX spec wiring is rated for DW65C, DW200, DW300, and DW300C series pumps. For DW400, DW420, or other high-current (400+ lph) pumps, use the heavy-duty 10-gauge variant (DeatschWerks PN# FPHWK-10-HD).
• Especially recommended for vehicles over 10 years old, builds making over 400 whp, and cars not originally engineered for high-performance fuel system demands.
• Not a replacement for the fuel pump itself - pump is sold separately.

The DeatschWerks FPHWK is a universal fuel pump hardwire upgrade kit designed to eliminate the voltage drop caused by aging or undersized OEM fuel pump wiring. By routing power directly from the battery to the pump through a dedicated relay, this kit ensures the pump receives full, stable voltage at all times - a critical factor for high-flow pumps that draw significant current and cannot afford to be starved of voltage under load. It includes 15 feet of 12-gauge SLX automotive-spec power wire, a 40-amp relay with 4-lead color-coded socket, a 30-amp inline fuse, and 5 feet of ground wire - everything needed for a clean, reliable installation.

The FPHWK is particularly valuable in vehicles over 10 years old where OEM wiring has degraded, in builds producing over 400 whp where fuel system demands are elevated, and in any car that was not originally designed to support a high-output fuel pump. It is compatible with all DeatschWerks pump series and any other in-tank fuel pump brand. For DW400, DW420, or other high-current pumps exceeding standard 12-gauge capacity, the heavy-duty FPHWK-10-HD (10-gauge) variant is recommended instead.
