Product Description

The DBA DB15003XP is a front axle Xtreme Performance brake pad set engineered specifically for the Kia Stinger GT platform (CK, 2018-2023) equipped with the 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 and its factory Brembo 4-piston front calipers across all GT trim variants - GT, GT1, GT2, GT Limited, GTS, GT Elite, and Tribute Edition - in both RWD and AWD configurations. Where the SP compound (DB15003SP) is optimised for improved daily driving over OE, the XP compound is the step up for drivers who push the Stinger GT harder: track days, canyon driving, high-speed mountain descents, and any situation where the front brakes are subjected to repeated, sustained, high-temperature loading that exposes the thermal ceiling of a street compound.

The XP delivers a G-G class friction rating with an average mu of 0.45, operational all the way to 550°C (1,022°F) - well above the typical operating range of the OE Brembo pads and substantially above the SP compound's 500°C ceiling. DBA's Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) pre-conditions the pad's friction response so cold bite is immediate and strong rather than progressive, and the factory-scorched surface eliminates the green fade period that commonly results in disc thickness variation on the Stinger's 350mm front rotors when standard pads are pushed hard before full bedding-in. A centre temperature-stability slot and application-specific chamfers manage heat, dust, and NVH throughout each braking event, while triple-layer European-made elastomeric shims are factory-fitted for a rattle-free, quiet installation.

The carbon-fibre, low-copper NSFI-certified formulation is also notably cleaner than both the OE Brembo compound and most comparable performance pads - a meaningful benefit on a car equipped with large open-spoke alloys where brake dust build-up is highly visible. DB15003XP replaces OEM front pad reference 58101J5A55 and fits the 350mm Brembo 4-piston front caliper directly. It does not fit the 2.0T or 2.5T Stinger variants, which use a different front caliper and pad shape. For the most capable complete front braking upgrade, DBA recommends pairing DB15003XP with DBA T3 slotted 4000 Series or 5000 Series front rotors (DBA3342). Companion rear pads: DB15004XP.
