The DBA DBA53940.1S is a replacement friction ring engineered for DBA 5000 Series two-piece front brake rotor assemblies used on the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Rather than replacing the complete rotor assembly, this service component allows the worn cast iron friction ring to be replaced while reusing the existing DBA aluminum center hat, reducing replacement costs without sacrificing braking performance.

Manufactured from DBA's XG-150 high-carbon alloy iron, the rotor ring features the patented T3 Tri-Symmetrical slot pattern, Kangaroo Paw ventilation, Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP), and thermographic heat paint to deliver exceptional cooling, fade resistance, and durability under demanding street and track conditions. It is intended exclusively for compatible DBA 5000 Series two-piece rotor assemblies and is sold individually.
