The XP compound uses a carbon-fibre, low-copper semi-metallic formula that delivers race pad-level initial bite and consistent friction from cold starts through sustained high-temperature use - making it equally capable at club track days as it is on demanding street drives.

Each pad ships with a scorched finish that raises cold friction effectiveness and shortens bed-in time significantly compared to raw pads. Application-specific NVH shims and pad slots manage noise and vibration without compromising braking aggression. NSFI certified for low copper content, these pads meet current and upcoming brake pad environmental standards. For best results, DBA recommends pairing with T3 slotted 4000 or 5000 Series rotors.
