• 2002-2003 Subaru WRX CRITICAL NOTE: Subaru made a rear caliper design change mid-production year. DB1379SP fits WRX models with a BUILD DATE of 09/2002 and earlier only. Build date is found on the VIN plate in the driver's door jamb - NOT the model year. WRX models built 10/2002 or later require a different pad (D1004 shape)

The SP compound is positioned between a standard OE replacement and an aggressive track compound, making it the ideal choice for drivers who want meaningfully better rear braking performance on the street without sacrificing daily driveability. With a maximum operating temperature of 500°C (900°F) and a factory-scorched friction surface for fast bedding, the DB1379SP is well suited to spirited street driving, weekend autocross use, and any application where the OE pad's fade characteristics are considered insufficient.
