Product Description

The Cusco 660 544 A is the Type OS-T add-on V-brace for the 1993-2007 Subaru Impreza, WRX, and WRX STI across the GC8, GDA, and GDB chassis generations. This component is not a standalone strut bar -- it is an add-on that must be paired with the Cusco Type OS rear strut tower bar (PN: 666 541 A), which must be purchased and installed first. Once the Type OS bar is in place, the OS-T V-brace attaches from the center of the bar down to the floorboard, adding a third mounting point and converting the 2-point bar into a triangulated 3-point brace. The added floorboard anchor significantly increases the rigidity of the rear chassis structure by creating a triangulated load path between the strut towers and the floor.

The brace uses the same oval tubular aluminum construction and high-polish finish as the Type OS bar for a seamless visual match. Installation requires drilling mounting holes in the floorboard -- all necessary hardware is included. The 660 544 A is also compatible with the Cusco Type 40 and Type CB rear strut bars for owners of those configurations.
