The Cusco 1A9 540 A Type-OS Front Strut Tower Bar is a bolt-on chassis reinforcement brace designed for the Toyota E210-generation Corolla Hatchback and GR Corolla. By connecting the left and right front strut towers with a rigid aluminum bar, this brace prevents the chassis from flexing and twisting under the lateral forces generated during aggressive cornering, heavy braking, and high-speed transitions. The result is sharper steering input, more predictable front-end behavior, and improved overall handling balance.

The Type-OS is Cusco's most popular strut bar series, featuring a polished aluminum oval-section center shaft that provides high rigidity while maintaining an attractive appearance in the engine bay. The steel end plate brackets are precision-formed for each specific chassis application and finished in Cusco's trademark blue powder coat.
