Product Description

The Cusco 965 540 A is a Type OS front strut tower bar for the Subaru BRZ (ZC6/ZD8), Toyota 86/GR86 (ZN6/ZN8), and Scion FR-S platforms from 2013 through 2026. The Type OS oval-shaft design uses a lightweight aluminum bar with an optimized oval cross-section that balances stiffness and weight reduction, connected to the strut towers via steel end plates in Cusco's signature powder coat blue. By bracing the front strut towers together, the bar reduces chassis flex under lateral loading for sharper, more precise steering response and improved corner entry feel.

Fits both LHD and RHD models. This version does not include the Brake Cylinder Stopper (BCS) -- if BCS is required, order 965 540 AMLHD (LHD) or 965 540 AM (RHD) instead. Pairs with Cusco 965 541 A rear strut bar for a complete front and rear chassis bracing kit. Made in Japan. Bolt-on installation with no permanent modifications required.
