Product Description

The Cusco 187 541 A Type OS is a rear strut tower bar designed for the 1998-2005 Lexus GS300, GS400, and GS430, as well as the 1997-2004 Toyota Aristo JZS161. It connects the rear strut tower mounting points to reduce chassis flex and maintain suspension alignment under high cornering loads. The bar features Cusco's signature oval-section aluminum shaft with a polished finish and pressed-ribbed internal construction for an optimized balance of light weight and structural rigidity. Steel end plates finished in Cusco blue bolt directly to the factory strut tower locations. Installation requires trimming of the rear interior trunk panels for clearance. A matching front strut bar (187 540 A) is available separately for complete front-to-rear chassis reinforcement.
