The Cusco 1C2 492 R Power Brace Rear Member is a high-strength rear chassis reinforcement brace that directly replaces the factory aluminum rear member plate on the 2020-2026 Toyota GR Supra A90/A91. While the OEM plate provides basic structural coverage, it is made from relatively thin aluminum and does not actively contribute significant rigidity to the rear chassis. The Cusco unit replaces this plate with a multi-material assembly consisting of a duralumin (high-strength aluminum alloy) panel, steel (STKM) oval-section shafts, and steel (STKM) stays that tie together multiple mounting points across the rear subframe area, dramatically increasing rear structural rigidity.

This upgrade is especially effective on the GR Supra because the rear subframe area houses the independent rear suspension, differential, and rear sway bar mounting points.
